HTH Calcium Hypochlorite manufactured by Lonza, is one of the world’s leading brands of dry chlorine. The sheer convenience of HTH calcium hypochlorite and the absence of bulk storage tanks is one reason for its rapid growth in popularity for treating water in commercial swimming pools – HTH can use fewer chemicals for pH correction and waste less water for Total dissolved Solids (TDS) control than many other sanitisers. Benefits of using HTH – With a lower pH than many other sanitisers, HTH can achieve a saving of up to 50% on pH correction costs- HTH provides a low level of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and therefore reduces plant corrosion- HTH contains much less salts than many alternative sanitisers – reducing the requirement, time and energy of costly water dilution- HTH is suitable for hard and soft water conditions and has added calcium to help prevent grout loss.
