Professional tips:Unlike conventional flocking agents, this product does not deposit suspended matter on the floor of the swimming pool.
Matter is kept in suspension in the water and this is termed as “chelating”.
Suspended matter is then filtered from the pool and it accumulates on the filter pads or filter media. This matter is removed when the filter is backwashed.
General Instructions
1. Ensure that the pool water is correctly balanced.
2. Backwash and clean the filter prior to use and turn off the pump.
3. Calculate the required amount from the dose rate.
4. Pre-dilute the product into a clean plastic container.
5. Distribute evenly around the pool.
6. Turn on the pump and filter for a minimum of 8 hours.
7. Repeat the dosage on a fortnightly basis or when necessary.

I have only ever used Aqua Finesse as recommended by my tub supplier so cant compare to the other products available. It is quite expensive and the 2bottle pack tends to last about 4 months therefore costing 270 a year but as it comes with the chlorine tablets and dispenser, you can keep the chlorine levels really low and still keep clean water without needing many other chemicals. My chlorine levels are pretty much zero all the time, I just make sure that there is always a tab in the dispsnser. The included pack of tablets I found doesnt last as long as the Aqua Finesse so I usually end up buying an extra pack of tablets and using 2 a week instead of one. Other than this, I find the pH and TA of the water holds pretty steady with only a minor TA boost needed now and again and I am generally changing the water every 4 months or so with moderate use. Overall, it isnt cheap, but you do get what you pay for and I would recommend it.
