• The Sta-Rite 5P2R pumps are precision molded of reinforced fiberglass. This lightweight, exceptionally strong, thermoplastic is designed for much higher pressure operation.

• A self-priming diffuser design makes this our fastest priming pool pump.

• The S5P2R series are suitable for salt water applications up to 0.4% (4 grams per liter) salt concentration. The capacity and dimensions are identical to the 5P2R series.

The S5P2R has a special motor shaft and all inner parts are made from high grade stainless steel or thermoplastic material.

Additional features include:

• Heavy duty totally enclosed fan cooled motor (TEFC) with stainless steel shaft, sealed and permanently lubricated bearings. Motor runs cooler for prolonged life under high ambient conditions. All single phase motors are thermally protected.

• Mechanical seal is precision lapped and made out of a highly polished carbon ceramic stainless steel construction to assure maximum, drip proof and corrosion free, protection.

• Stainless steel locking clamp for quick and easy servicing.

• ‘See Thru’ trap lid designed to withstand 4 bar test pressure as well as high vacuum conditions.

• Extra large lock-in basket to hold more dirt – Multiple drain locations for quick winterizing – temperature and corrosion resistant.

• Unequaled performance meaning higher heads up to 22.5 meters and flow rates up to 22m3/h.
