Welcome to the world of premium water filtration with PGFM, the top-tier refined glass filter media that sets new standards in quality and performance. Crafted by Dryden Aqua in our state-of-the-art facility, PGFM stands out as a superior choice for those seeking exceptional water treatment solutions. Our ISO-certified process guarantees the utmost precision and care in every step of production, ensuring a product that exceeds expectations.
What makes PGFM truly exceptional is its meticulous manufacturing process. Starting with a thorough washing and decontamination of the glass, we then expertly break it down into precise particle shapes and sizes. This attention to detail not only ensures optimal filtration but also eliminates any risk of dangerous glass splinters contaminating the media. With an organic load of below 400g per ton, PGFM is a testament to purity and safety.
While PGFM may not undergo the patented activation process that defines AFM®, it still outshines traditional sand filters in terms of biofouling resistance. This means cleaner, clearer water with reduced maintenance requirements, making PGFM a cost-effective yet high-performance alternative for discerning customers. It strikes a perfect balance between efficiency and affordability, catering to a market segment that values both quality and value.
When it comes to glass sand filtration, Dryden Aqua’s PGFM stands as a beacon of excellence. Designed to compete with other glass sand options in terms of pricing, PGFM elevates the standards with its superior quality and reliability. Say goodbye to subpar filtration media and embrace a new era of crystal-clear water with PGFM by Dryden Aqua.
Manufacturers description:
PGFM is one of the highest quality refined glass filter medias on the market. It is produced by Dryden Aqua in own factory in strict compliance with our ISO certified process. The glass is first washed and decontaminated and then carefully broken to the appropriate particle shape and size. Above all they make sure no dangerous glass splinters can get into the filter material and that the organic load is below 400g per ton. But PGFM is not AFM®. PGFM does not undergo our patented activation process and it is manufactured from mixed glass – the white glass is not sorted out.
Nevertheless, PGFM is a better filter media than sand because it biofouls less, but it is not bioresistant like AFM®. PGFM is the answer to compete in the generic glass sand market and a highly price sensitive customer segment less concerned about exceptional performance.
Glass sand by Dryden Aqua: Priced to compete with other glasss sand on the market, but with a higher quality.
