For the more discerning pool owner who wishes to test for additional parameters. Blue Horizons 6-Way Test Strips provide a quick and easy way to test your swimming pool water. They offer tests for free chlorine, total bromine, pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness & cyanuric acid. Simply dip the strip in the water and remove immediately. Hold horizontally for 10 seconds (do not shake excess water from the strip), then compare pads against the colour chart on the test strip bottle.

So much better than other strips I have used. Very pleased with product have been able to correct the ph of the water in my hot tub.

I have always had a hard time with the strips that you have to compare the colors, I love the electronic tester and strips because it also gives me the actual level

I was originally sceptical as the results differed wildly from my old testing kit and showed seriously high pH and alkalinity and no free chlorine. I was planning to return the kit but bought a 3rd kit Instatest to check. The results from these strips matched the Instatest strips and as I have very hard water I believe they are likely to be accurate. I should note that my pack had the shiny nonfaded label that others have referred to.
